He it is who forms you in the wombs as He will. [What has been formed] remains as it was created. It is He who determined your states in eternity as He willed-this remains as it was and is from the divine decree and destiny. There is no god except Him the Mighty al-ʿazīz the Wise al-ḥakīm. His decision is not followed by any reversal fa-lā yuʿaqqabu ḥukmuhu11 bi-l-naqḌ nor can His ordaining be avoided by neglect or rejection aw yuʿāraḌu taqdīruhu bi-l-ihmāli wa-l-rafḌ.
