As for the disbelievers neither their riches nor their children will avail them against God; those-they shall be fuel for the fire. No ransom will benefit them fa-lā fidāÌ yanfaʿuhum no riches defend them wa-lā ghanāÌ yadfaʿuhum. No wealth will be accepted from them no veil will be raised from them no statements heard regarding them. With them will blaze hellfire al-jaḥīm and for them is a painful banishment al-Ṭard al-alīm and distance [from God] and boiling water wa-l-buʿd wa-l-ḥamīm.
