* تفسير Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

{ وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْبَصَرَ وَٱلْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولـٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً }

((O man), follow not) say not (that whereof thou hast no knowledge) whereby you say: I know, when you have no knowledge; or say: I saw, when you have not seen anything; or say: I heard, when you have not heard anything. (Lo! the hearing) that which you hear (and the sight) and that which you see (and the heart) and that which you hope for (of each of these) about each of these (it will be asked) on the Day of Judgement.
