Lo!, the religion with God, is this affirmation of the Oneness which He Himself has established. His religion is the religion of the submission of countenances, as Abraham, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: I have surrendered my countenance to God [Q. 3:20], that is, [I have surrendered] my soul and my totality, and I have divested myself of my egoism and thereby am annihilated in Him. God, exalted be He, commands His beloved, blessings and peace be upon him, to say:
