* تفسير Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

{ وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ }

(And al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed) and He destroyed the townships of the folk of Lot: Sodom, Sadum, Gomorrah and Sawa'im; al-Mu'tafikat means those that were swallowed up by the earth.
