* تفسير Tafsir al-Tustari

{ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِئُواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَىٰ ٱللَّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ }

They desire to extinguish God’s light with their mouths…This means that they are intent upon destroying the Qurʾān with the lying of their tongues. But God insists on bringing His light to its fullness, that is, He will [fully] manifest His religion, Islam.His words, Mighty and Majestic is He:
