* تفسير Tafsir al-Tustari


{ قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعاً وَلاَ ضَرّاً إِلاَّ مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ لاَسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِيَ ٱلسُّوۤءُ إِنْ أَنَاْ إِلاَّ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ }

I have no power to benefit or harm myself except as God wills…So how can anyone benefit another when he does not have the power to benefit himself? That is for God alone, Exalted is He.His words:
