* تفسير Tafsir al-Tustari


{ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ ٱلْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ ٱلعِزَّةَ للَّهِ جَمِيعاً }

…Do they desire power with them?...This refers to the hypocrites who were seeking power and protection from the Jews. Do you not [recall] the Prophet’s words , ‘Nothing descended from the heavens mightier than certainty’? That is, there is nothing more indomitable or formidable. His words:
