* تفسير Al Qushairi Tafsir

{ وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ }

gave you victory at Badr when you were contemptible. So fear God in order that you might be thankful. The reminder of favors granted in the past is an opening to the door of supplication to ask for similar things in the future.
