* تفسير Tafsir al-Jalalayn

{ لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ }

he would have tarried in its belly until the day when they are raised in other words the whale’s belly would have been his tomb until the Day of Resurrection.
