* تفسير Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

{ فَأْتُواْ بِآبَآئِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ }

(Bring back our fathers) revive, O Muhammad, our forefathers who died so that we might ask whether what you say is true or false, (if ye speak the Truth) that we will be raised again after we die!
